The system is capable of efficiently meeting the needs of multi-tenant spaces for their HVAC and lighting requirements. Because the property uses submeters, Delta Controls can monitor and bill tenants based on actual data of the individual tenant’s usage. The system also has the ability to schedule times for HVAC and lighting so that it can match the season and time of year. All of this can be accessed and changed from one platform delivering results quickly and remotely.
The boilers at 2305 Historic Decatur Road are extremely efficient. Despite their new condition they have already undergone a tune-up and the heat pumps have also been balanced. The heat pumps run on a variable air volume system and each of them is controlled by direct digital controls. The supply and exhaust fans run on efficient motors and there are digital, programmable thermostats to allow the fans times to rest. Variable frequency drives run on all fans, pumps, and cooling towers. On top of this, the whole building uses low-flow toilets and faucet aerators that have reduced the water consumption of the building considerably.
