Owned and managed by Hines, 333 West Wacker is a 36-story, 867,000 net rentable square-foot office tower. It is located on a triangular site on a bend in the Chicago River, bordered by Wacker Drive, Franklin Street, and Lake Street. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and completed in 1983, 333 West Wacker is a distinctive sight on the west Loop, characterized by a curved, striated reflective fa?ade offset from a planar form at the building's crown. In addition to the property's prime location, tenants enjoy the convenience of an attached underground garage, 3,000 square feet of in-building retail, a private fitness center, a conference center, and a landscaped plaza at the building base.

 

333 West Wacker earned the ENERGY STAR for superior energy performance as a result of retrofits to the building infrastructure, including a building management system that has enabled property management to reduce unnecessary energy consumption. Baseline infrastructure improvements include building lighting retrofits, the installation of a high-efficiency domestic water system, and the overall recommissioning of the building mechanical systems. The building management system allows centralized strategic control of building start times, HVAC settings, and more, which together permit overall reductions in energy consumption.
