Hines is manager of 6200 Stoneridge, a five-story, 151,187-square-foot office building in the four-building Pleasanton Corporate Commons, an office park in the eastern San Francisco Bay Area's Tri-Valley submarket. In addition to its suburban location, which is adjacent to the Stoneridge Mall and well-served by road access, Pleasanton Corporate Commons also will be conveniently served by a future BART station. Designed by Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum, 6200 Stoneridge was completed in 2000. 

 

6200 Stoneridge earned the ENERGY STAR for superior energy performance as the result of energy-efficient features and energy-conscious management. High efficiency T-8 lamps and electronic ballasts are used for building lighting. Variable frequency drives (VFDs) are used on air handling units throughout the building, allowing them to operate at levels closely corresponding to demand, and an outside air lockout feature on the boilers saves energy as well. In addition, building managers operate 6200 Stoneridge's HVAC systems at maximum efficiency by monitoring weather conditions and setting operating times and temperature setpoints accordingly. Finally, a computerized building management control system enables building engineers to monitor and operate 6200 Stoneridge's ancillary systems as efficiently as possible.
