One Greenspoint Plaza, built in 1978 and expanded in 1999, is a 223,159-square-foot, eight-story tower designed by S. I. Morris and constructed of steel-reinforced poured-in-place concrete. The exterior walls are a combination of painted aluminum panels with a bronze glass curtain wall, providing superior energy and shading co-efficient factors. The dual-pane vision glass provides noise abatement and highly efficient insulating qualities. The curtain wall system has various architectural reveals and setbacks that break up the visual line of the individual floors (each approximately 13 feet tall). Brick masonry walls at the ground-floor walkway accent the building and provide continuity with the adjacent 36,891-square-foot Gallery I retail center.
