383 Inverness Parkway
Englewood, CO 80112
Plaza at Inverness was built in 1999 with energy conservation and efficiency in mind. The building was originally outfitted with F32 T8 lighting fixtures, an Energy Management System (EMS) on the HVAC system, and a "morning warm up" system to reduce the initial electrical demand on the building when the HVAC system starts during the winter. These systems are all still producing excellent results when it comes to energy savings.
Plaza at Inverness is also committed to finding new ways to reduce energy consumption and increase efficiency throughout the building. The management team has installed various energy saving devices at Plaza at Inverness including occupancy sensors in the restrooms and new compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) throughout the building. These improvements are combined with an in house work order system to monitor temperatures and eliminate unnecessary heating or cooling.
Future energy saving solutions are also investigated as new technologies become available. Performing an HVAC automation modernization project is being considered to not only reduce demand and energy consumption in the building, but to also increase tenant comfort and satisfaction.
