The Lamb Weston/BSW plant in Warden, Washington is located is located in the heart of one of the most prime vegetable-growing regions in the U.S., the Pacific Northwest.  The plant produces frozen potato products, including french fries, formed products, and hash browns which are distributed to restaurants and retail customers worldwide. 

The Warden plant was first built in 1999 by Basin Frozen Foods, and was subsequently purchased by Ochoa Ag Unlimited.  A joint-venture agreement was formed in 2008 between Lamb Weston and Ochoa Ag Unlimited to form Lamb Weston/BSW.

Lamb Weston seizes every opportunity to preserve and protect vital natural resources by managing energy and water usage, and by reducing waste and pollution. Warden efficiency features include the following: 

Water, natural gas, and power usage are benchmarked and tracked, to ensure responsible use of resources.

Water optimization reduces the amount of water used during processing.

Zero Waste Champion award each year since 2015.

Extensive packaging reuse and recycling programs aid in reducing costs and landfill.

The Warden plant earned ENERGY STAR certification for the first time in 2013.
