Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO) is a generation and transmission cooperative serving 12 rural electric cooperatives and one municipal electric cooperative in the state of Iowa. CIPCO is Iowa's largest cooperative energy provider, with a service territory that stretches 300 miles diagonally across the state from the Mississippi River on the east to Shenandoah in the southwest. Working together, CIPCO and its member cooperatives provide electrical service to over 300,000 Iowans in 58 of Iowa's 99 counties. CIPCO is committed to improving and promoting energy efficiency, and has been an ENERGY STAR Partner since 2002.
