Picerne Military Housing Fort Riley

Take the ENERGY STAR Pledge

Fort Riley, known as the Home of the Big Red One, is located in northeast Kansas and is a unique training post. Established in 1853, Fort Riley offers a glimpse into the past, as many buildings and historic homes are built of beautiful native limestone. Since assuming operations in July 2006, Picerne Military Housing has maintained the beauty of the prairie post's historic homes, while building new homes and adding many modern amenities for families to enjoy. Picerne Military Housing will be installing more than 105,000 CFLs over the next three years.
