Picerne Military Housing Fort Meade

Located between Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, DC, Fort Meade was carved out of heavily forested, rolling hills in a decidedly rural area prior to World War I. Before Picerne assumed housing responsibilities in 2002, Fort Meade's homes were not considered among the Army's best. Now, spectacular new and renovated homes serve the on-post military community along with the Army's best Neighborhood Centers. Picerne Military Housing will be installing more than 110,000 CFLs over the next three years.
