LIVEGREEN is the energy efficiency program for our school district. Our LIVEGREEN Goals for 2008-2009: " maintain an annual reduction of 10% in energy use, as it compares to baseline* " Increase the number of ENERGY STAR rated buildings from 1 to 5 " Establish LIVEGREEN teams in every building to help implement low-cost/no-cost energy efficiency strategies " Capture a larger percentage of recyclables by adding more bins to schools " Expand the composting program that was implemented at GEMs (Garlough Environmental Magnet) to more elementary schools *Baseline data is the data from the year before we started the conservation program, 2002-2003.
