The Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, is one of four combat training centers in the DOD. It is the largest installation in the Marine Corps (932 square miles). All other Marine Corps bases and stations in the world would comfortably fit inside the borders of MCAGCC. It is the only dedicated live-fire maneuver range in the Marine Corps, providing training to every Marine deploying to Iraq or Afghanistan during current US military operations in the region. It has been the long-standing center for combined-arms, live fire maneuver exercise training since 1952. The Mainside area of MCAGCC covers roughly seven of the base's 932 square miles. Other administrative areas include the Expeditionary Airfield (EAF) and the Camp Wilson (Exercise Support Base area) complex.
