For seventy-five years, the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) has been the source for education, resources, information and membership for real estate management professionals.  IREM is the only professional real estate management association serving both the multi-family and commercial real estate sectors.  Collectively, IREMs 18,000 members manage over $1.5 trillion in real estate assets, including 9.3 million residential units and 8.4 billion net square feet of commercial space.  IREM Members are employed by some of the most prestigious real estate firms in the world and nearly 70% hold upper-level management positions. IREM has been an ENERGY STAR  Partner since 1998, and promotes the benefits of energy efficiency through ENERGY STAR  to our members by:

1.      Publishing articles in our Journal of Property Management (24 articles within the last 12 months)
2.      Maintaining an ENERGY STAR  web page on our IREMFIRST web site, including
3.      Producing publications to assist members with energy conservation
4.      Providing webinars (live and recorded)
5.      Conducting local energy management workshops and seminars sponsored by our 80 local chapters
6.      Highlighting ENERGY STAR  news in our electronic newsletters and various press releases

IREM shares all EPA resources with our members through our web site, publications, and training events.
