The Parkview management team continues seeking opportunities to improve energy efficiency at Parkview Plaza. Some of these improvements include replacing all lighting with 25 watt T8 lamps, delaying start times of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) program exhaust fans by one and a half hours in the morning, and having program cooling tower fans operate in parallel with the exhaust fans. Additional sustainability measures at the building include using integrated pest management methods, taking part in a lamp disposal program, and replacing all toilets in the building that used between 2.8 and 3.0 gallons of water per flush (GPF) to toilets that use 1.28 GPF, within one year.
