Brookhollow Central II is a 14-story, Class-A office building in Houston, Texas. This high performance property has earned the BOMA 360® designation, as well as 2013 and 2014 ENERGY STAR® certification under Parmenter Realty Partners. The property is also LEED Gold for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance under the LEED 2009 v3 rating system.  There are various energy saving measures that have helped the property earn the ENERGY STAR . 

A garage lighting retrofit consisted of installing T-8 lighting along with energy efficiency control features such as motion sensors.  This retrofit will contribute to annual energy use reductions, and the cost savings are estimated at $16,000 per year. 

Motion sensors were also used in various occupied and non-occupied parts of the building and garage to decrease energy use. 

Optimizing building system set points and adjusting runtimes for the building's chillers and lighting schedules were important components of the energy efficiency strategy at Brookhollow II as well.
