Nine Parkway
North, located at Parkway North Center in Deerfield, Illnois, is
a five-story office building built in 2002 and consisting of 133,000
rentable square feet. The building's two-story lobby features marble
walls and marble and terrazzo floors with a facade of glass and
pre-cast concrete. This building overlooks a magnificently
landscaped pond with live swans and flowing fountain.
Nine Parkway North
earned the ENERGY STAR for superior energy performance as a result
of a building design that uses several rooftop units, which enable
increased flexibility for satisfying varying load requirements. A
state-of-the-art building automation system optimizes operating
times of the mechanical systems. T-8 lamps with electronic ballasts
and compact fluorescent lighting are also controlled with the
building automation system. Energy-efficient equipment and effective
energy management practices have also helped achieve the ENERGY STAR.
Parkway North
Center is an 80-acre campus that currently includes six low-rise
office buildings and is home to 11 corporate headquarters. Parkway
North Center was the winner of BOMA's 2001-2002 and
