Defective sensors on the automation system have been replaced. Retrofits were made to base building lighting to add electronic ballasts and motion sensors, and restroom equipment was replaced with low-flow models.

The building participated in The Chicago Green Office Challenge and the Change the World, Start with ENERGY STAR campaign, providing free CFLs for tenants to take home, in addition to handouts about energy-efficient lighting.
