building

One California Street is one of San Francisco's premier addresses. Designed by Welton Becket & Associates, the white precast concrete columns on the exterior contrast with bronze glass and dark brown aluminum. Remodeled in 1995-1996, the expansive lobby is finished in warm wood, polished granite, and hand-fit tile. The lobby and plaza were remodeled to bring the look of the building up to date and to improve energy efficiency.

One California is located in the Financial District of San Francisco at the foot of California Street off Market Street.  The property is convenient to all Bay Area public transportation including the historic California Street Cable Car line. Landmark hotels, excellent shopping and exceptional restaurants are all within two blocks.
