Managed by Hines, Westwood of Lisle is a complex consisting of two six-story, 148,000-square-foot office buildings, totaling approximately 300,000 square feet of space. Collectively, the buildings are currently 96 percent leased. Designed by DeStefano & Partners, Ltd., and completed in 1991 and 1997, the buildings are located in the Chicago suburb of Lisle, west of downtown and just off I-88. In addition to this convenient location, the buildings are distinguished by a striking stepped-ziggurat profile with corner setbacks, which rise handsomely from their landscaped campus setting. An underground parking deck and an underground tunnel connecting the buildings provide tenants with convenience and shelter from chilly winter weather.

Westwood of Lisle earned the ENERGY STAR for superior energy performance as a result of a series of infrastructure retrofits and improvements to building management practices. For instance, lighting retrofits were instituted, including replacing incandescent bulbs with high-efficiency fluorescent lamps and installing occupancy sensors in common areas and select tenant areas (such as conference rooms). In addition, a new building management system gave property management the ability to centrally control a number of different energy-consuming infrastructure elements. As another example, common area lighting shut-down times are set earlier--reducing the amount of unnecessary lighting--while HVAC hours and settings are centrally controlled to reduce unnecessary heating and cooling of tenant space outside of normal occupancy hours.
