On the infrastructure side, building HVAC equipment was completely re-commissioned, helping to improve its efficiency, while cool-roof technology and roof insulation are used to reduce thermal heat gain. Finally, additional efforts under consideration, including solar-powered parking area lighting, reflective window treatments, and variable frequency drives (VFDs) on air handling units, should result in further improvements in Roseville Corporate Centre's energy efficiency.
