Testimonial:
"We are proud to be one of the schools earning the ENERGY STAR. During the last 3 years, our school community has worked hard to conserve energy wherever we could do so. It is as simple as turning off the lights every time one leaves a classroom or office, shutting down all electrical equipment before leaving for the day, keeping classroom doors closed when using heat or air conditioning, and using sunlight in lieu of classroom lights when feasible. Our students and faculty have increased their level of awareness toward helping to preserve our environment. This is a grass roots effort school-wide that started with energy conservation, and is now moving to a building-wide recycling effort, a goal we are embarking on as a school-wide community this fall."
