Fifth Street Towers, winner of the 2009 BOMA International Office Building of the Year (TOBY) Award and ENERGY STAR certified six consecutive years, is a 1-million-square-foot, two-tower Class A office complex located in downtown Minneapolis

The 25-story "100 Tower" features distinctive architecture, including a horizontal glass and aggregate panel curtain wall, green neon rings adorning the top of the tower, and outdoor balconies. The building is served by a four-level underground parking ramp accommodating 260 vehicles.

Fifth Street Towers offers the most comprehensive amenity package in the market, including a fully-equipped, staffed conference center featuring four separate rooms, full-time staffed fitness center with fully appointed locker rooms, on-site security and building management, free Wi Fi, gourmet coffee, deli, valet car wash, ATM, mail center, and sundry.

Fifth Street Towers actively participates in EPA's ENERGY STAR program and earned the ENERGY STAR for superior energy performance for consecutive years since joining the program in 2004. Significant factors contributing to the continued improvement include:


-- A variable frequency drive (VFD) was installed on a 150-HP motor serving the core water pump, and 14 water flow control valves were installed. As a result, peak demand usage was reduced by 90 KW annually. 


-- A total of four VFDs were installed on two 20-HP cooling tower fan motors and two 10-HP cooling tower fan motors (controlling a total of six fans). Peak demand usage was reduced by 14 KW annually as a result of this work. 


-- Saturday HVAC service, which was supplied by default on Saturday mornings, was modified to operate by request only, reducing the annual electrical consumption by 327,500 Kwh.
