Advanced Clothes Dryers Development

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released final updates to the Advanced Clothes Dryers 2014 Emerging Technology Award Criteria for electric clothes dryers. Performance criteria for gas dryers is currently in development, and the Agency recently sent out draft requirements to stakeholders for comment.

The 2014 Award winners will be announced on a rolling basis once documentation is verified and approved by EPA and products are available for U.S. sale. Product submittals and other information requests can be sent to emergingtech@energystar.gov.
