ENERGY STAR Verification Testing Initiative

Prior to the transition to third-party certification and verification testing, EPA worked with third-party laboratories to conduct verification testing of ENERGY STAR qualified products to reinforce the status of the ENERGY STAR mark as an influential symbol in the marketplace, and to protect the investment partners made in the program. These archived documents provide an overview of that initiative.
