ENERGY STAR Verified HVAC Installation For Home Performance Contractors

Is it difficult to find reliable HVAC trade allies that understand building science and can properly install HVAC-related measures that are recommended on your whole house assessment report?

If you are a home performance contractor and answered yes to either of these questions, the ENERGY STAR Verified HVAC Installation Program (ESVI) may be right for you.

Depending upon your specific business model, your home performance company can benefit from the ESVI program by:

  • Offering your customers the opportunity to receive an ENERGY STAR Verified HVAC Installation Certificate when an HVAC replacement is part of the home performance scope of work
  • Building trade relations with HVAC contractors participating in a locally sponsored ESVI program that provide the peace of mind that the HVAC installation will comply with industry standards and “house-as-a-system” building science principles.
