Become an ENERGY STAR Partner Now!

EPA is recruiting both manufacturers that produce external power supplies and those that use them with their finished products. Join ENERGY STAR and enjoy these benefits:

  • Product differentiation with the ENERGY STAR marks. Power supply manufacturers and end-use product manufacturers that use power supplies are eligible to display the ENERGY STAR mark or the ENERGY STAR external power supplies graphic, respectively, with their qualifying models. The new graphic designed for end-use product manufacturers is shown below.
  • Powered by an ENERGY STAR qualified adapter for a better environment

  • Drive sales. 56% of US adults report purchasing a product because the advertising on the label said that the product was energy efficient (i.e., ENERGY STAR qualifying). 54% of US households knowingly purchased an ENERGY STAR-labeled product, and the presence of the label influenced their purchasing decision.
  • A head start in complying with power supply efficiency standards in Europe, Asia, and California.
  • External power supply manufacturers: Meet your customer's growing need for ENERGY STAR qualified power supplies.
  • Finished product manufacturers: Reach new customers and comply with purchasing requests for ENERGY STAR qualified power supplies that will come from government buyers.
  • Listing on the ENERGY STAR Web site as an ENERGY STAR partner, with links to your Web site.
  • Third party credibility by participating in a U.S. government-backed program.
  • Participation and recognition in industry events, such as the Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exhibition (APEC) 2005, Austin, Texas, March 6-10, 2005.
  • There is no cost to become an ENERGY STAR partner.
