Criteria Development Process

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released final criteria for the Residential Induction Cooking Tops Emerging Technology 2021 Award.

The 2021 Award winners will be announced on a rolling basis once documentation is verified and approved by EPA and products are available for U.S. sale. Product submittals and other information requests can be sent to emergingtech@energystar.gov.

2021 Emerging Technology Award Final Criteria

Below are the final 2021 Emerging Technology Award criteria for Residential Induction Cooking Tops. Manufacturers with products that meet the Award criteria may immediately begin submitting the necessary documentation to demonstrate that they meet this criteria to emergingtech@energystar.gov. All Award-winning products will be listed on a forthcoming Qualified Product List.
