Dear stakeholders,
We're thrilled to share that on November 12, the Empire State Building turned its tower lights blue in honor of us and all the other ENERGY STAR certified buildings and plants across the country. ENERGY STAR certified buildings and plants like ours are certified to be energy efficient—performing among the top 25% of similar facilities nationwide. In partnership with the U.S. EPA's ENERGY STAR program, we have reduced our energy use and are helping protect the environment for us all.
The Empire State Building maintains a tradition of changing the color of the lights to recognize important occasions, holidays, and causes throughout the year. This is the fourth year that the nation's 44,000 ENERGY STAR certified buildings and plants were honored. You can find more information about the Empire State Building's tower lights, and see a photo of our lights, at https://www.esbnyc.com/about/tower-lights. (And yes, the lights are LEDs!)
You can find other ENERGY STAR certified buildings and plants near you at www.energystar.gov/buildinglist.
Thank you for your ongoing support,
