The Sustainable Buildings Checklist is a valuable tool for evaluating the sustainability of any type of existing building.
It was first developed to help U.S. federal building managers comply with the Federal Guiding Principles for High Performance Sustainable Buildings. The Guiding Principles establish common strategies for operating and maintaining federal buildings in a sustainable manner and focus on energy efficiency, water conservation, and indoor environmental air quality.
