Recognition for Service and Product Providers

EPA offers a number of ways to recognize your achievements through labels, awards, and project highlights!

Service and Product Provider Directory

ENERGY STAR SPPs have demonstrated their expertise and achievements by meeting strict ENERGY STAR program requirements for benchmarking customer buildings using Portfolio Manager and gaining ENERGY STAR certification for buildings. Be featured in this directory so customers can search for you by Company Name, Location, Services Offered, and Disadvantaged Business status.

Most Active Service and Product Providers

EPA identifies the most active partners that are helping their clients benchmark in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager and helping buildings earn ENERGY STAR certification. In addition, EPA identifies all service providers that are making use of Portfolio Manager web services to help their clients benchmark.

The Directory of Licensed Professionals

If a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect in your organization has verified and stamped the certification application for a building that has successfully earned the ENERGY STAR, the individual and your company can be listed in the online directory of Professional Engineers and Registered Architects. EPA refers partners to this list to find Professional Engineers and Registered Architects to verify their applications for ENERGY STAR certification.

ENERGY STAR Awards

Each year, EPA honors a group of businesses and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to protecting the environment through superior energy achievements. ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award winners lead their industries in the production, sale, and delivery of energy-efficient products and services, and in the development and adoption of strategies that provide substantial savings in buildings.

Service and Product Providers, as well as your clients, that are in good standing and demonstrate superior leadership, innovation, and commitment to environmental protection through energy efficiency and ENERGY STAR are eligible to receive this award.

Social Media Messaging

Be sure to share the news of your recognition as a leading organization that improves the energy efficiency and performance of buildings. Reference our SPP Partner Social Media Toolkit for messaging that can be used to spread the word on X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

ENERGY STAR Tenant Space

Obtain ENERGY STAR Tenant Space recognition for your own offices. There is no better way to demonstrate your commitment to sustainability to your clients and employees. ENERGY STAR Tenant Space recognition allows leased properties to recognize individual tenant spaces for their sustainability efforts.

Interested in recognition for your clients? Refer to the ENERGY STAR Certification for Clients.

Improve your clients’ performance and motivate them to save energy and cut down on costs!

ENERGY STAR Treasure Hunts

During an Energy Treasure Hunt, teams walk around a facility looking for quick ways to save energy. Those quick fixes can add up to big savings. Hundreds of organizations have used Energy Treasure Hunts to reduce their facilities’ energy use by up to 15 percent. Are you ready to help your clients find the treasure buried within their facilities?

ENERGY STAR Challenge for Industry

The ENERGY STAR Challenge for Industry is a global call-to-action for industrial sites to reduce their energy intensity by 10 percent within 5 years. Any industrial site can participate, and those that achieve this goal will earn EPA recognition.

ENERGY STAR Tenant Space

Do you have a project in a leased space within a multi-tenant property? ENERGY STAR Tenant Space recognition allows leased properties to recognize individual tenant spaces for their sustainability efforts.

Make it a Competition

Competitions can be a great way to motivate your clients to find new efficiencies, engage occupants in your efforts, and multiply savings across your portfolio – all while helping the environment. You can help your clients join an existing competition or start your own. See EPA’s list of legislation and campaigns leveraging ENERGY STAR for competitions near you.
