Become an ENERGY STAR Service and Product Provider

Does your organization help building owners improve energy performance? Consider becoming an ENERGY STAR partner to gain access to new customers, enhance your company’s credibility and visibility, and access a network of peers and energy management resources.

While all organizations are welcome to use ENERGY STAR tools and resources, by joining as a partner, your marketing efforts will pack an extra punch. You’ll be able to use the ENERGY STAR partner logo in your marketing materials, and your company name will be listed on the ENERGY STAR website, where it will be visible to thousands of building owners and managers. Not only that, but you’ll receive the benefit of achieving ENERGY STAR recognition for a job well done.

There’s no cost to join ENERGY STAR as a partner. Use the chart below to decide which partnership category is right for you. After you’ve selected your category, view the complete partnership requirements PDF and become an ENERGY STAR partner by applying online.

Please note that applying organizations must serve customers in the U.S. or U.S. Territories.

SPP, industrial plants: Companies providing a product or service that directly aids in improving energy efficiency of a customer's plant or operationsSubmit a teaming profile outlining an energy efficiency project completed for an ENERGY STAR industrial partnerMost active industrial service and product providers

Web services provider: Companies offering 1-100 ENERGY STAR scores and other metrics from Portfolio Manager as a part of their commercial energy information servicesWithin the last 12 months, use Portfolio Manager to benchmark at least 10 buildings, or earn at least one ENERGY STAR certification for a client building*Service Providers That Exchange Data with Portfolio Manager via Web Services
SPP association: Associations whose memberships offer energy efficiency services or products for commercial, industrial, or institutional buildingsEncourage members to use ENERGY STAR tools and become ENERGY STAR partnersService and product provider associations

*Organizations that don’t meet these requirements can still be ENERGY STAR partners, but their services will not be promoted on the ENERGY STAR website.
