Texas-New Mexico Power Company

Texas-New Mexico Power Company (TNMP) is an electricity transmission and distribution service provider. TNMP supported the construction of more than 280 ENERGY STAR® certified homes, representing a year-over-year increase of 72%, for a total of nearly 9,000 since the program’s inception in 2003. Key 2023 accomplishments include:

• Expanding ENERGY STAR builder partner participation in the program 25% compared with 2022.
• Leveraging digital media to promote ENERGY STAR certified homes, resulting in more than 28,000 impressions across its social media channels.
• Increasing the kilowatt-hour savings from ENERGY STAR certified homes by 149% since 2022.
• Promoting ENERGY STAR through its partnership with the Bay Area Builders Association, focusing on recruiting diverse, minority, and women-owned builder and rating companies to the program.
