The RMR Group LLC is an asset management company. RMR has demonstrated a commitment to improving its portfolio energy management program, leveraging ENERGY STAR® tools and resources in unique ways to communicate throughout its organization. Key 2022 accomplishments include: 

  •  Achieving ENERGY STAR certification for 77 buildings and becoming a Premier Member of ENERGY STAR Certification Nation.
  •  Hosting its annual building competition, with a focus in 2022 on reducing HVAC equipment runtimes in areas where tenants have not yet fully returned post-COVID.
  •  Requiring tenant submeters to align with requirements for the ENERGY STAR Tenant Space recognition criteria.
  •  Hosting Energy and Sustainability Roadshows, which are in-person events held across its regional offices to provide training and updates on its corporate sustainability initiatives, including discussing its involvement in the ENERGY STAR program.
  •  Developing a new dashboard to help share ENERGY STAR certification information across the company.
  •  Communicating about ENERGY STAR across multiple internal channels, including its SharePoint website, Yammer, newsletters, regional events, corporate website, press releases, social media, and bulletin board posts in common areas.
