Rheem Manufacturing Company is a manufacturer of residential and commercial water heaters and boilers, as well as heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment. Rheem stood out for its commitment to promoting ENERGY STAR® certified products through ENERGY STAR facilitated contractor training and its development of new lines of ENERGY STAR certified products. Key 2023 accomplishments include:

• Presenting at 23 in-person and virtual ENERGY STAR events dedicated to increasing awareness about ENERGY STAR certified heat pump water heaters.
• Serving a leading role on the ENERGY STAR Heat Pump Water Heater Manufacturer Action Council, which works to build awareness of the technology among contractors, utilities, distributors, and the public.
• Training contractors nationwide on the installation and servicing of its ENERGY STAR certified heat pump water heaters and providing its compiled list of independent third-party contractors to populate the ENERGY STAR heat pump water heater installer finder tool.
• Training 6,598 contractors/installers, 1,022 utility partners and 14,756 retailers, and 469 distributors on its sustainability efforts, including the availability of ENERGY STAR certified products.
• Introducing the new ENERGY STAR certified Rheem Endeavor™ Line Prestige® Series iM heat pump, which is Rheem’s most efficient residential heat pump to-date.
• Debuting the ENERGY STAR certified ThermaForce and Combi Boilers lines designed for both space heating and domestic hot water, which reduce NOx emissions by up to 75% and achieve annual fuel utilization efficiencies of 96%.
• Launching Maximus, a new ENERGY STAR certified gas water heater that reduces energy use and carbon emissions by up to 36% and NOx emissions by up to 75%.
• Collaborating with national retailers on an ENERGY STAR advertising/promotional campaign.
• Incorporating discounts/rebates/tax credits for ENERGY STAR products into all applicable marketing materials.
