ReVireo, a home energy rating company, certified nearly 400 homes as ENERGY STAR® in 2023, for a total of more than 8,000 since 2011. Key 2023 accomplishments include:

  • Enhancing its web-based application to improve quality assurance and internal communication, including collecting live digital field data and verifying all design energy modeling inputs at the pre-drywall and final inspections.
  • Providing technical support and on-site training for home energy raters, program stakeholders, and other industry professionals to ensure consistent application of ENERGY STAR program requirements.
  • Conducting dozens of on-site and virtual sales training sessions for builder sales teams, enabling them to effectively communicate the value of ENERGY STAR certification to homebuyers.
  • Educating potential ENERGY STAR clients through webinars and marketing campaigns about incentives for ENERGY STAR, including local utility rebates, the Section 45L federal tax credit, and discounted financing for multifamily buildings.
  • Providing in-person training opportunities, territory field meetings, and conference calls to assist ENERGY STAR projects by addressing challenges and providing solutions to keep projects on track.
