Students lead the way to a brighter, more energy-efficient future!

It’s official – the back-to-school season is in full swing!

As students return to the classroom, school districts are enlisting students’ help to enrich energy management programs and magnify their impacts. Teaching students to conserve energy and develop better energy use habits makes a big difference in total school energy use. And not just because most of the building occupants are students – but also because their enthusiasm is so infectious!

Making a Difference in the Great Outdoors!

Here at ENERGY STAR, we have a passion for protecting the environment. In honor of this mission, we hosted the first annual ENERGY STAR Volunteer Day with our 2015 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award winners. These organizations are dedicated to making the world a better place by reducing energy use and protecting the climate, so we asked them to take it a step further and join us for a day of hands-on volunteering in Washington, DC!
