Mattamy Arizona Construction, LLC, a regional home builder, constructed more than 300 ENERGY STAR certified homes in 2023, for a total of more than 4,200 homes since joining the program in 2010. Key 2023 accomplishments include:

  • Featuring ENERGY STAR as a central part of its sustainability strategy in electronic and print materials, including its corporate sustainability report, website, and social media posts, as well as in sales centers, model homes, and on every house plan.
  • Educating sales staff and homebuyers about the features and benefits of ENERGY STAR certified homes.
  • Providing training on ENERGY STAR program requirements at preconstruction meetings for all construction staff and vendors.
  • Hosting an internal corporate environmental, social, and governance conference that featured information about the benefits of constructing all the company’s homes to be ENERGY STAR certified.
