Lockheed Martin Corporation is a global security and aerospace company. Working with ENERGY STAR®, Lockheed Martin has continued to mature its energy program in support of the company’s decarbonization activities. Key 2022 accomplishments include:

  •  Doubling the number of projects submitted to its Go Green Gated Capital fund, of which 39 will be sponsored for a total investment of $50 million upon completion.
  •  Studying electrification opportunities at six of the corporation’s largest natural gas consuming sites. 
  •  Installing a 20 MW single-axis photovoltaic system at the company’s Palmdale, California facility.
  •  Publishing an article on projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and including information for employees on ways that ENERGY STAR resources can help at work and at home.
  •  Earning the ENERGY STAR for six buildings and becoming a Member of ENERGY STAR Certification Nation.
