Kohl’s, Inc. is a specialty department store retail chain. Kohl’s continues to integrate ENERGY STAR® tools and resources into its energy management program, achieving a 20% energy savings across its portfolio and certifying 1,097 facilities as ENERGY STAR. Key 2022 accomplishments include:

  •  Certifying 54 department stores as ENERGY STAR and earning Executive Member-level recognition in ENERGY STAR Certification Nation.
  •  Completing 120 LED retrofit projects, estimated to save over 21M kWh.
  •  Helping provide clean energy to local residents by contributing to four community solar projects in New York. 
  •  Running the screen ad “You’re charging at an ENERGY STAR certified Kohl’s store” at 74 certified locations with EV charging stations.
