KB Home, a large national home builder, constructed over 13,000 ENERGY STAR® certified homes in 2023, for a total of more than 187,000 homes since 2000, and utilized ENERGY STAR as its preferred platform for communicating its achievements in building homes that are more energy efficient and sustainable. Key 2023 accomplishments include:

  • Featuring ENERGY STAR prominently throughout all print and online marketing materials, including its corporate website, model home signage, virtual home tours, and social media posts.
  • Highlighting its continued commitment to sustainability and ENERGY STAR certified homes in an annual corporate environmental, social, and governance report.
  • Promoting weekly sustainability-focused social media posts that often highlight the benefits of ENERGY STAR certified homes, with a focus on their contribution to creating healthier living environments.
  • Generating more than 700 million impressions for a new energy-smart connected community development in Southern California, the future site of more than 200 ENERGY STAR certified homes.
