Google Nest: Energy Partnerships Team

Google makes the smart Nest Thermostat and smart Nest Learning Thermostat. Google Nest pioneered smart thermostats, was key to the establishment of smart thermostat recognition, and was the first to certify a model as ENERGY STAR. Their ENERGY STAR® certified thermostats today include standout features like the lowest standby power of any certified smart thermostat, presence detection, and preserving some energy savings when disconnected from the cloud. Key 2022 accomplishments include:

• Certifying its entire product line of smart thermostats. 
• Increasing access to energy efficiency among underserved households by streamlining qualification for low- and moderate-income customers to utility programs, resulting in two to four times more conversions than industry benchmarks.
• Launching Nest Renew, a service for compatible Nest thermostats that makes it easy to support a clean energy future from home.
