Entergy Arkansas, LLC is an electric utility serving 63 counties in Arkansas. In 2023, the utility greatly enhanced marketing efforts for its Point-of-Purchase Solutions (POPS) program by leveraging discounts on a wide variety of ENERGY STAR certified products and significantly increased consumer engagement by 18%, achieving nearly two million in unit sales and 100 million kWh in annual energy savings. Key 2023 accomplishments include:

  • Promoting numerous ENERGY STAR products by offering discounts on certified lighting, smart thermostats, freezers, air purifiers, dehumidifiers, heat pump water heaters, and ductless mini-split heat pumps.
  • Achieving widespread consumer engagement through store signage, fact sheets, and rebate applications promoting incentives on ENERGY STAR products at point-of-sale at numerous big box retailers.
  • Showcasing banner ads on the Entergy Arkansas home page, driving nearly 500,000 users to the online marketplace for ENERGY STAR products.
  • Leveraging Entergy’s Facebook social media channel, email marketing, and electronic newsletters to reach more than 300,000 residential customers with ENERGY STAR messaging.
In 2020 ENERGY STAR and its partners helped Americans avoid more than $40 Billion in energy costs
