ecobee, a maker of smart thermostats and other smart home products, leveraged ENERGY STAR to help customers save 6.28 TWh of energy in the first nine months of 2023, likely to eclipse the 6.44 TWh energy savings in 2022. Key 2023 accomplishments include:

• Earning ENERGY STAR certification for its entire product line.
• Delivering more than 540 training sessions featuring ENERGY STAR to 7,000 total distribution employees across North America, up 6.5% from last year.
• Publishing an ENERGY STAR Day blog that received more than 1,233 views and the accompanying social posts received more than 1,500 views.
• Demonstrating that ecobee’s easy-to-administer Grid Resiliency offering delivered similar load shift results as San Diego Gas & Electric’s standard demand response program, which has much higher administrative overhead.
