Delmarva Power & Light (DPL) is an electricity and natural gas energy company serving areas of Delaware and Maryland. For over a decade, DPL has actively promoted ENERGY STAR® certified homes and residential products to its customers, saving more than 157,700 total megawatt hours of energy. Key 2023 accomplishments include:

  • Supporting the construction of more than 300 ENERGY STAR certified homes, an increase of 70% compared with 2022, and exceeding 1,900 homes overall since joining the program.
  • Launching two digital marketing campaigns, yielding more than 2.4 million impressions, which showcased the benefits of ENERGY STAR certified homes to consumers and potential builder partners.
  • Leveraging the ENERGY STAR Retail Products Platform program model to offer instant markdowns on ENERGY STAR certified room air conditioners, clothes washers, clothes dryers, refrigerators, and freezers, and offering a midstream rebate at heat pump water heater distributor locations.
