Key 2023 accomplishments include:

• Achieving ENERGY STAR certification for 289 buildings.
• Completing more than 59 energy audits to evaluate building energy performance and provide low- to no-cost energy conservation measures, as well as capital cost suggestions. These audits resulted in an average of 19% energy savings during 2023.
• Hosting regular training sessions on ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager® through its Energy & Sustainability Services team, providing prerecorded trainings on the company intranet, and staffing a help desk and weekly office hour to train property managers and engineers on benchmarking.
• Achieving a 33% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, making substantial progress toward the Science Based Targets initiative’s Corporate Net-Zero Standard, which calls for reducing absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions across its corporate offices and operations by 50% by 2030 from a 2019 baseline.
