- Achieving ENERGY STAR certification for eight buildings.
- Benchmarking 100% of its assets for energy and water, and 69% for waste, in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager®.
- Investing nearly $6 million in capital energy efficiency projects, expected to save 300,000 kWh of electricity and yield annual savings of about $260,000, and fully electrifying the cooling system for one of its properties.
- Hosting a Tenant Energy Challenge, which engages tenants on energy efficiency and provides tips from ENERGY STAR on how to save.
- Hosting its 7th and 8th Tenant Roundtable event for tenants from New York and San Francisco, including sessions promoting ENERGY STAR Tenant Space®, ENERGY STAR Treasure Hunt campaigns, and the use of the ENERGY STAR Building Emissions Calculator.
- Transitioning its San Francisco properties to 100% clean offsite energy by opting into a program that allows VNO to purchase all the buildings’ electricity from in-state renewable resources.
