Park Hotels & Resorts is a lodging real estate investment trust. Park Hotels & Resorts implemented a comprehensive energy management program incorporating ENERGY STAR® benchmarking and performance metrics to achieve significant energy use reductions. Key 2022 accomplishments include:
- Benchmarking 100% of its properties in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager® for energy and water and achieving ENERGY STAR certification for five properties in 2022.
- Establishing a $5 million energy efficiency project fund and committing to fund $25 million for identified projects.
- Conducting ASHRAE II energy and water audits at 10 properties, which identified $31M in projects with savings of $8.5M annually and planning ASHRAE II audits at all properties by 2025.
- Communicating about sustainability achievements, including ENERGY STAR certifications, tools and resources, and the 30th anniversary of ENERGY STAR, to a wide variety of stakeholders, including employees, management, committees, and hotels.
