MaGrann Associates, a home energy rating company, certified nearly 800 homes as ENERGY STAR® in 2022, for a total of over 56,000 since 1997. Key 2022 accomplishments include:
- Certifying 433 all-electric units and encouraging clients pursuing ENERGY STAR certification to implement all-electric projects, consulting on how they can choose all-electric systems while still meeting ENERGY STAR program requirements.
- Expanding builder engagement opportunities by offering both in-person and virtual New Construction Team meetings at ENERGY STAR project kick-offs and throughout the construction process.
- Refining its proprietary tablet application for ENERGY STAR fieldwork verification to enhance remote quality assurance practices, enhancing specific features for Multifamily New Construction such as project photos and geotagged reports.
- Providing over 20 educational sessions reaching more than 250 industry professionals to keep clients up to speed on regulatory code changes and ENERGY STAR policy updates.
- Highlighting the ENERGY STAR partnership as a core aspect of its corporate identity and promoting the program with all potential new clients.
