LivCor is a multifamily asset management company. LivCor demonstrated its commitment to energy efficiency and ENERGY STAR® through engagement with internal staff and leveraging of ENERGY STAR resources to improve the energy efficiency of its properties. Key 2022 accomplishments include:
- Achieving ENERGY STAR certification for 58 properties and becoming a Member of ENERGY STAR Certification Nation.
- Benchmarking 100% of its portfolio in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager® for energy, water, and waste.
- Establishing a target of 15% managed greenhouse gas emissions reductions for every community within three years of acquisition.
- Developing an ENERGY STAR marketing playbook to consistently ensure certifications are marketed and displayed at properties as they are achieved.
- Developing a “quick wins” checklist that identifies common area measures that have the largest impact on carbon reduction, including lighting, controls, and HVAC opportunities.
