JELD-WEN, Inc. is a manufacturer and distributor of windows and doors. JELD-WEN significantly enhanced its ENERGY STAR® marketing efforts through a new employee education and training program, consumer outreach across social and commercial channels and high-impact support of the ENERGY STAR Day cause campaign to help bring the benefits of energy-efficiency to underserved communities. Key 2022 accomplishments include:

•  Integrating ENERGY STAR specific training materials into its new-hire onboarding process, existing employee training materials, and external sales training materials engaging 1,100 employees.
•  Promoting ENERGY STAR across several channels including Facebook and Twitter, through articles in Door and Window Market magazine’s “Earth Day: More Than a 24-Hour Cycle” and JW Connect, an internal news site, and through a Pinterest board that featured ENERGY STAR certified products. 
•  Supporting and promoting the ENERGY STAR Day cause campaign through a high-impact partnership with Rebuilding Together and Lowe’s Home Improvement that included donating a full set of ENERGY STAR certified windows and doors to a family in need, as well as volunteering on the day to help with installation and other improvement projects for the home. Stories highlighting the effort were posted on social media along with a slide show of all volunteers at the job site.
