Green Team LI is a home energy efficiency contractor. Green Team LI increased average home energy savings to 50MMBtu by including whole-house heat pumps in more projects. Key 2022 accomplishments include:

  •  Completing 883 home energy audits and 364 home performance projects through its Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® partnership.
  •  Promoting cold climate air-source heat pumps to support the state’s goal for limiting greenhouse gas emissions.
  •  Collaborating with the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA) to design a program for implementing efficiency upgrades in homes belonging to the Shinnecock Nation on Long Island. 
In 2020 alone, ENERGY STAR and its partners helped Americans avoid more than $40 Billion in energy costs
